Novi Vinodolski is a small town with about 5.282 thousand inhabitants and with the land area of 265,08km2.
Besides tourism, traditional occupations includes forestry, transport business (salt transport is of special importance), viticulture and agriculture (agriculture is especially successfully because Vinodol valley is very fertile).
The town of Novi Vinodolski has a mild Mediterranean climate which guarantees nice, warm weather during the summer and rather mild winter.
